Broadway East, Marian Place, Bethnal Green

Scope of Works

Statom Group Ltd are pleased to announce the start of the Broadway East project for St Williams, part of Berkeley Group Plc. The project known as Marian Place aims to bring 565 luxury apartments and over 4,000 square metres of additional space to the heart of Bethnal Green.

A unique aspect of Marian Place is the restoration of two historic cast iron gasholder frames on the site. One of these frames, which was built in 1865, is the oldest surviving gasholder guide frame in the world. The other, constructed in 1888 by Samuel Cutler & Sons of Millwall, is a rare example of the area's architectural heritage.

The Broadway East project will showcase these gasholder structures within the development, serving as the centrepiece for five new cylindrical apartment blocks across a 1.82ha site. With its blend of historical charm and modern luxury, this development will create a vibrant residential community.

Statom Group Ltd is proud to oversee the delivery of the substructure, superstructure, external works, and tower crane package. We are committed to delivering this ambitious development to the highest standards set by St William and the Berkeley Group Plc.
