Last week, colleagues, friends, and supporters came together for the annual Statom Group Charity Football Match, an exciting 11-a-side fixture held in support of ECHO UK — a fantastic charity dedicated to supporting children and families affected by heart conditions.
The match delivered plenty of entertainment, with both teams putting on a competitive display in front of supporters. The Red Team saw goals from Harry Patience, John Lambie, and two from Tommy Brown Jr. The Yellow Team responded through Brett Boyer, Memsur Gorda, Stan Nikudinski Jr, and Bayley Harrison.
There were also a few memorable moments along the way including Bill Unwin’s unforgettable missed chance, which many agreed was harder to miss than score.
Beyond the action on the pitch, the event highlighted the incredible generosity and community spirit shown by everyone involved. Statom Group would like to thank all those who played, donated, and came along to support such an important cause.
A special thank you goes to Josh Ledger for organising the match and helping bring everyone together for a fantastic event. Thank you also to Erith Town Football Club for hosting the match at their stadium and helping make the day such a success.
