A huge congratulations to Tiyahna Drake, Head of Media, and Usman Ahmad, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, who took to the skies to complete an incredible 12,000-foot tandem skydive in support of our charity partner, ECHO.
The challenge took place at Headcorn in Kent, where they began with a 15-minute flight to reach an altitude of 12,000 feet. Once at the jump height, Tiyahna and Usman bravely took the leap, experiencing an exhilarating 40 seconds of freefall before their parachutes opened for a five-minute descent back to the ground.
Completing a skydive is no small achievement, and the challenge required plenty of courage, determination and a willingness to step well outside their comfort zones. Their efforts were made even more meaningful by supporting ECHO and helping to raise awareness of the invaluable work the charity carries out for children with heart conditions and their families.
We are incredibly proud of Tiyahna and Usman for taking on such an unforgettable experience for a cause that means so much to us. Their commitment reflects the fantastic fundraising spirit shown across Statom Group and the continued support our colleagues give to our charity partner.
