Statom Group has recently invested in one of Europe's tallest freestanding luffing cranes, a Comansa LCL165RC, standing at 107.6m.

The crane was purchased for first use at Statom's iconic Abbey Quay development in Barking, where they are carrying out enabling and groundworks and the construction of multiple RC frames for blocks ranging from 10 to 29 storeys.

The new crane investment dramatically increases Statom's ability to deliver the scope of works efficiently across the entire site, due to the hi specification demanded by Statom's plant and machinery division.
