Get Construction Talking is a global initiative dedicated to addressing the mental health crisis in the construction industry. Founded by Fred Mills, it aims to break the stigma surrounding mental health, encourage open conversations, and raise $1 million for mental health charities. Through videos, podcasts, events, and awareness campaigns, it provides vital resources to support workers, promote well-being, and create a healthier, more open industry.
Rio Ferdinand Foundation
Founded in 2012 by Rio Ferdinand, the Foundation is dedicated to empowering young people from diverse backgrounds. Through sports, education and personal development programs, the foundation strives to provide opportunities and support for youths to reach their full potential.
WBC Cares
Our mission is to empower the most vulnerable, especially children, by teaching boxing’s core values: sportsmanship, diversity, and respect. Boxers inspire resilience and hope, and our champions share skills for courage and strength. From gyms to hospitals to disaster sites, WBC Cares, guided by the World Boxing Council, sends compassionate volunteers to support and protect those in need.
Lord Tavern
The organisation exists to empower young people facing inequality and help them reach their potential. Its vision is a future where every young person can overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes. Through high quality, inclusive cricket programmes, it supports young people in making positive choices, improving their health and wellbeing, and building confidence, skills, and aspirations. Working in patnership with communities and organisations, it champions inclusion, empowerment, and inspiration, acting as a trusted voice for social change and helping to unite communities in the effort to overcome inequality.
The Wickers Charity
Henry Smith, a businessman and philanthropist affected by the consequences of knife crime in London, founded the charity in 2018. Inspired by his personal experiences, he created an organisation that provides free after-school activities, school support services, and employability programmes for young people. The charity supports young people in reaching their potential regardless of social status, race, religion, or postcode, promoting safer althernatives to knife crime and anti-social behaviour.
ECHO
Connecting the children's heart community
ECHO is a charity supporting families affected by children's heart conditions, who have been treated by Evelina London, Royal Brampton and Harefield and their networks of local community hospitals. ECHO welcomes families into a community of shared experience and understanding and provides practical and emotional support at every stage of their heart journey.
FUNDRAISING
We bring the Statom family of staff, clients, suppliers and partners together in a range of different events throughout the year to raise funds for our chosen charities. Events include a Legends Ball, family sport days, Christmas jumper day, cake sales and charity football matches.
By bringing people from around the Statom family together, we not only raise significant sums for charity, but also strengthen the sense of belonging and commitment to each other, which feeds in to all areas of our work and personal lives.

We are delighted to have extended our sponsorship of Erith Town football club, whose first team competes in the Southern Counties East Football League and is based just a short distance from our Thurrock head office.
In the past we have sponsored up and coming motor racing drivers and staff members undertaking their own initiatives. Again, this is another great way of strengthening communities and the development of future talent in different ways.
