The Milton Keynes East Infrastructure scheme is a strategic highways works package which will enable the delivery of 7500 new homes, 4 Million sq ft of land for employment use, schools, community centre & other land use.

Our works consist of 60,000m3 cut & fill, 3000lm of services, construction of a 35m span bridge & 6000m2 of surfacing.

Project Progress

The Primary Street development in Milton Keynes East continues to make excellent progress, with our team delivering a significant programme of civil engineering and infrastructure works for Berkeley Group.

The project is split across three key phases: River Ouzel Bridge, Primary Street Phase 1 and Primary Street Phase 2, with our involvement covering a wide range of major infrastructure works supporting the wider development.

Primary Street is a key element of the development, providing essential access to the future Primary School and Community Hub, while also delivering the infrastructure required to support the surrounding residential development.

The scale of works completed across the project includes:

• 3 kilometres of foul drainage
• 7500 m³ infrastructure  
• 1.56 kilometres of storm drainage
• 100,000m³ of cut and fill
• 2no. pumping stations, each over 10 metres deep

We are currently completing Phase 2, with the team focused on the final surfacing works, including tarmacking the footpaths and Redways. These works represent another significant milestone as we move towards completion of the phase.
