Statom Group is continuing its sponsorship of Erith Town Football Club, a partnership that started back in 2021.

It was about supporting a local football club, giving kids opportunities and helping keep them off the streets and on the pitches. That was what mattered to me then, and it's still what matters today."

Grassroots football is so important to our communities. It gives young people somewhere to go, something to focus on, friendships to build and people to look up to. Not every child is going to become a professional footballer, but every child deserves the opportunity to be part of a team.
"Of course, it's been brilliant watching Erith Town's success over the last five years, winning trophies and earning promotion. But that's never been the reason we've supported them.
The real win for me, and the greatest pleasure, is knowing we're helping a local club give young people opportunities they might not otherwise have.
And let's not forget the people who make these clubs possible. The volunteers, coaches, parents and everyone who gives up their time, week in and week out, often without any recognition.
I've always believed that if you're fortunate enough to build a successful business, you should try to give something back, especially to the communities around you.
