Situated on the corner of Moscow Road and Palace Court, Esca House is a highly complex demolition project requiring exceptional precision and careful planning throughout.
The demolition works involve the retention of the existing brick façade while undertaking structural demolition directly above a live London Underground tunnel. These constraints demand meticulous engineering, robust temporary works, and strict adherence to safety and operational requirements.
Risk management is fundamental to the successful delivery of the project. Close liaison with Transport for London (TfL) and Westminster City Council is critical to maintaining the programme, alongside careful coordination with neighbouring properties to minimise disruption and ensure their protection.
